Ok I had to do an l-port and It is 6"H so I marked all the way around the L at 3" in the middle and from front around I have got 22" but all the box calculated says phical port it 16" so is my port 22" or 16"?

IF I understand you correctly, your physical port length is 16" and this is what your actual port is cut to, but the woofer will actually see the port as 22".

Ok so aI 22" my tuning will be 35hz so is safe to so or will I be tuned what it says for a 16" port

What program are you looking at?

On smd

cut your port to the physical port length.

The port length you see that is longer is what the woofer sees taking in to account end correction and how many sides the port uses.

Cliffs notes

Thank alot that was a big help it was asking how long for the port I need 22 1/8 to get right at 35hz then it said 16" phical port this is my first l-port so I'm kinda dumb at it thanks
