No. You increase the chance of blowing the subs with that.

Your door speakers don't have highpass crossovers on them, do they? Get some. Then you can turn the bass level on the headunit to 0 like it should be and things will be better.

    no i dont but even when i turn the low to 0 or higher it still barely increases the bass of the sub. im at a loss!!!
