August 5, 201015 yr maybe it helps to concentrate the magnetic field to where they want it,around the coil. Makes it stronger there with less material. Just a guess though
August 5, 201015 yr It has better cooling, a pole vent isn't helpful the majority of the time, but with the clots in the motor the coil is cooled down better. They made it similar to the Warden motor because it has great cooling.
