Posted July 28, 201015 yr I want to make sure i get more information before i go and do my own things .I recently received a saz1000 .I plan to install it useing 2 - 10" subwoofers (Audiopulse Epic dual 4ohm voice coils) .My question is amp settings :Were do i iinitally set the subsonic at ?Were do i iinitally set the LPF at ? Were doi iinitally set the Phase at ? Were do i iinitally set the Bass boost at or if i even need it ?I can deal with the gain .If you amplifier gurus can give me some ideas,i would appreciate it . July 29, 201015 yr Set the subsonic 2-3 hz below the tuning of your box, if it is ported. If it's a sealed box, you don't need the subsonic on.I initially set the lowpass around 70 hz, then go up or down depending on how the sub sounds at that level as well as how it blends with the front speakers. If the fronts can play lower, it's beneficial to lower the lowpass on the sub.Phase at 0, but can turn that anywhere to match the phase with the front speakers. You cannot hurt the sub by moving this dial.Leave bass boost at 0. You don't need it, and it will only harm things if used.
