you guys think its worth rewiring the factory wires on the door speakers with new 16 or 18g?..do they all have to be wired to the front and then to the back ?..do they have to be wired together on a specific side for noise reduction?..thanks for the help i curently have them wired to the hu will be putting a 100 watts into each of them with a 400.4

What amp?

I personally like to run my own wire from the doors to the amp. No need to run on a specific side of the vehicle. I would use 16 gauge.

how did you run it? did you go back to behind the head unit and then run it to the back or did you make you own route to the amp

From the amp to the door speakers direct. Through the boot.

You can use the fatory wiring behind the dash, just make sure you have the right polarity.

Polarity is the way in which you have them wires. In short Normal Polarity Pos to Pos and Neg to Neg. Reverse Polarity would be the opposite. The BOOT is nothing more than the factory wire cover in the door jam..

you mean phase .. so they should be in the right phase pos to pos and neg neg evrywhere

What does this mean? Just use wire directly from the amp to the speakers. You don't use the speaker outputs on the head unit. If your head unit has RCA outputs, use RCAs to get the signal to the amp.

phase and polarity are the same thing. And we already talked about this in your other thread.

yea true that i was thinking the same thing..what i meant earlier was having the wire run from the speaker directly to the amp instead of routing it through the front where the factory wire is

Why would you want to run it to the front? The factory wires go there because they are hooked up to the head unit for power.

i have to run the front speakers thru the boot in the door jam anyway so they have to go foward before they can go backwards is what im tryin to say
