Posted August 8, 200718 yr The currently listed "used" 1500Ds are the last of the Team trade-ins. All four 1500Ds were traded in from Team Sundown members that upgraded to SAZ-3000Ds for competition.Due to a poor reaction from e-bay sales all future sales of b-stock, used, and refurbished amps will take place direct on this forum only after these five auctions are over. You won't be seeing them available for the, quite literally, ridiculously low ending prices of some of the e-bay auctions that have taken place over the last two months. So, if you were holding off thinking that the auctions will keep coming -- consider this your last chance.
August 8, 200718 yr Wish I had the money, I'd buy all that's left of the 1500d amps, since I really need all 4. Just bought another astro though, so things are very tight.
August 8, 200718 yr Author I may pull them off e-bay and use them for my demo truck (coming tomorrow) if they don't sell tonight. I am about to send out a mailing to prospective dealers and I don't want them to think that me listing these on e-bay is a "regular" thing.
August 8, 200718 yr I would love to have the 1500d and the 4 channel.I wished you had a 50x4 that's got the same features as the 100.4.I don't need that much power for my highs. I like the heatsink of the 100.4 and I dont think your 50x4 is going to have the same case right?

I will probably add a smaller SAX multi-channel at a later date that will maintain the feature set of the SAX-100.4 in a smaller model.
August 9, 200718 yr Author I ended two of the 1500D auctions early, these are going in the demo truck. The other three amps will run their course to their end dates on Sunday. After that you will only be able to get used, b-stock, and refurbs on the forum... and they won't be going as cheap as they have been on e-bay.

August 10, 200718 yr Did you end up getting the truck from that subsgopoof guy on? I saw that truck at world finals, it was sick.
August 10, 200718 yr Author Did you end up getting the truck from that subsgopoof guy on? I saw that truck at world finals, it was sick.I did. I will have two SAZ-3000D in it at first, and will add more later... I might be getting some custom 18" SI Mags made for it as well
August 12, 200718 yr I am looking for a SQ amp for my surrounds. I have heard nothing but great things about your amps. The SAX-100.4 on eBay is more than my present speakers can take.I can control that with gain combined with the use of an AudioControl DQXS.My question is about the Sound Quality.I just want to ensure myself that this amp is about SQ and not SPL.My finger is itching to hit that BUY button but I only have the funds to do this once.
August 12, 200718 yr Author Here is a review for you, written by an Audison dealer:http://forum.realmofexcursion.com/showthre...sundown+audisonHe seems to like it and he sells Audison for a living! Actually, he bought the SAX-100.4 demo unit from me after the review
August 12, 200718 yr That is great to see. I would be honored to be the last of your eBay buyersEven better knowing that I bought from the manufacturer of these great amps. I never have bought a refurb item but if THE MAN says it's OK then I feel better. Thanks, Jim
August 12, 200718 yr I had never bought any Sundown Audio equipment prior to my purchase of a SAX-100.4 and SAX-100.2 from SSA. I have been very happy with the sound quality and output of both amplifiers. I was so satisfied that I purchased a SAE-1500D prototype on here just the other day. Jacob (sundownz) makes some awesome amplifiers, and his customer service is top-notch.
