Posted August 12, 201015 yr This is a project I have been working on for some time now and it will continue until everything is the way I like it. There is a lot that is subject to change and will change in the upcoming weeks. This will be a permanent setup but it will only be in for a short while. I still have a lot to do to the interior so some things will be out of place. I have part of the big3 done already and I have the materials to finish it. I have a couple of batts for now and they should hold me until I either upgrade or find another amp like I already have. I will also be upgrading my batts in the future. I hope you enjoy.
August 12, 201015 yr Author Some pics of the enclosure being built. Also there is a pic of my brother in the box. He is 6'5" and weighs over 350lbs.
August 12, 201015 yr Author Flared the port face using a roundover bit. I used a flush/trim cutting bit for cutting the hole of the inside diameter of the sonotube. Since this is done on both the inside and outside the port shouldn't move any.Mounting the port face. Edited August 12, 201015 yr by Loose Cannon
August 12, 201015 yr Ive heard that you want a minimum of 1 port diameter clearance at the ends,2 of them look like they will have an effectilvely longer port length being so close to the enclosure wall... but thats just splitting hairs. Looks promasing!
August 12, 201015 yr Author Thanks! I guess we will have to see how this turns out. I have a couple of test vids.
August 12, 201015 yr Author That's a sick looking box, and the ports are nice and clean. Thanks! It took a little bit of planning, but it came out how it supposed to.

August 27, 201015 yr Author Nice execution. I just cant see the vids I was thinkin aeros for mine too gotta see what I come up with.I do apologize for taking so long to reply. I actually kinda forgot about this thread becasue nobody seemed to be interested. I have since finished the box. I will try and get some more photos of it. I still have another layer to add to the front but that can wait until later. So far it seems to work out fine with the port design. It was said by a couple of people that I would have unloading issues. I guess I will have to find out. I also have some vids of testing on youtube.
