i am looking to get my system started and i am looking for a idea for a amp for 2 12inch xcons... please help... u can email me would be nice at [email protected] thanks for the help

If your car has a strong electrical system, you can get a Sundown saz 3500 (this would be perfect), or even a saz 2500 ! There is a sale running on Sundown products these days

But you really need electrical upgrades, like some agm batts(1 under the hood, and 2 in the back) and a HO alternator if you want to play your system at iddle safely.

There are a lot of amps in the market that can fit your goals : MTX TE4000, Audiopipe 3000, Crescendo audio 3000,...etc, etc

Give us a budget, and what kind of upgrades you will have on your car.

right now i have no upgrades. i have a 25 farat cap. i am slowly upgrasding my stuff. i have not done car audio in the six pass years besides the neighbor kids little system. i am looking at a http://cgi.ebay.com/SPL-AUDIO-DK-3400D-3400W-MONO-BLOCK-D-Car-Amplifier-Amp-/350390491158?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item5194e69816. but i am not sure if that would be strong enought. right now i am on a budget so i was hoping that would be good enough for a temp amp. i am just trying to build a little at a time and get a good system going.

i'd go for xs power or kinetik

as far as the amp goes, sundown 3000d would be my pick...crescendo 3k too

if you're on a tigher budget, audiopipe ap3000 can work

Forget the cap, it will not do anything good for you !

I think the deka batts are cheap and good ones. Optima's are not bad batteries, they may not be the best but if you have a good deal on them, get some. (I think you'd better get the Yellow or the Blue ones). You would need at least one under the hood and one in the back near the amps.

The Crescendo amp is like the old Sundown 3000, much better IMO than the Audiopipe ! But the AP will work, don't worry !

Even with 2000 watts, your subs will pound hard !

Take a look at the Classifieds section here, for great deals

Take advantage of the september Sundown sale.

or db-r.com (official repair center for Sundown and others)
