what type box would you suggest for a sq setup i know the norm is sealed but i've heard a few ported boxes and they sound pretty nice give me some of the pros and cons of both btw subs being looked at are idqv2 12" IA LI 12" and SA-12 thanks for any heip provided

If the car has a trunk IB the IDQ and end the thread ...if its a hatch back/suv/extended cab truck it will depend on the music you like.

I run my sub ported, but it's tuned waaaaay low and acts similar to a sealed box until about 28Hz and down. I agree on the IDQ, if you have a trunk, IB is the way to go with that driver, just watch your power levels. I can't speak to the other drivers mentioned although I hear great things about the SA-12.

Hope that helps and be sure to do a build log with lots of pics!

If your worried about Sound Quality you should focus more on your front stage install

This would be my suggestion also ... My enclosure is ported at 22 htz. (about the same as SQ_MGBs). Best of luck to ya sir.

Also remember ... Attention to Detail is the Key to SQ ...
