what is the length or volume of a vent in a 2cu ft ported box tuned to 28hz supposed to be? I am trying to figure out a way for my sealed box to have the ability to add on a vent to turn it into a vented box. Suggestions.

length depends how big(cross-sectional area) the port is

im guessing a 12" Mag

for u get a mag 12 in a 2cube box tuned at 28hz

u will have to make the box interally bigger so the displacement of the port and sub will be 2 cubes

heres a pic of what u need 2 do to make the port long enough so it will be 28hz in a 2cube box with the mag12 in it

u will have to make 2 bends..i made the box 29widex13highx13deep and the port is 11.5highx2inches wide(23square inches in port area).. 34deep

if he mad his por 3inches wide his port will have to be 50inches long...at that point instead of making a L-shape port he would have to make colums
