i've got a nine.1 for my 12's, and an orion 8004 im going to power an alumapro alc 6.2 component set with. im planning on running the mids off 2 channels and the tweets off the other 2.

im thinking of buying these rca's

but i didnt know if it was cool to use a 4 channel set like that with 2 of them running the components (split with a stinger helix y cord on each one, so the mids and tweets will both be playing the front channel) and the other 2 used for the bass on the nine.1. they should be fully shielded so this is cool right?

also how do i want to wire the amp up? i just bridge 2 of the channels with the 4 ohm mids and get a 2 ohm load right? what about the tweets?

Works now.

Those are pretty decient.

Just remember that your amps will have to be close together to use all 4 channels without extending them.

someone on eca told me that shielding does nothing for audible noise and can make it worse lol. said i should go with the hypers. the same seller has them for a few bucks less, but does this hold any water?

You'll have many experts who will agree and disagree. I've seen it proven both effective and ineffective, so you'll have to be the judge.
