  • Yes it is a GROUND POUNDING MECA build. The wall works good for what it is designed for. Plays down to 20 hz where it still does a 150 at the head rest and peaks at 40hz with a 154+.

Glwb!! Make sure to post plenty of pics. Looks like a strong list of equipment!

I suppose that means I can't go wrong with those choices I guess. I have only seen one batcap user on the west coast so I don't have any personal ref's. You guys got any experience with them?

i would love to see you achieve your goals....

with so many variables within your submitted choises and goals, i would be hard press to offer much input with out sdoing somehome work myself....

as you well know, as with all audio, it has alot to do with the install, each one being unique....

the s10 you mentioned.....vs the crx..... alot more refrence material for the crx readily available .....just a thought....

over build your electrical..... whatever you choose....

will be watching this one closely

sure would like to see a IAK logo accompined in your sig!

Battery choice has been made!!

Xstatic Batcap

4000 will be purchasing 2

for the rear and 1 battcap 2000 for the engine bay

Using these coupled with a 240 amp alt I should be able to support 12k easy. Each 4000 can handle a 6000 amp burst.

I got sponsored. Welcome the newest Xstatic team member

Chop localy the S10 is one of the favorite bases. I have 4 proven designs all of which are over 150 in the lanes. Infact the lowest score is 150 using 2 15" bl's and 3k clamped. The highest one is a MECA record holder with a 154 on music and 2 3500 AQ's.

if you would like any additional input , Ben Hemp down in 502 does quite well with his S10.......

Shizzzon introduced me to him, very helpful and knowledgable young man. i am sure he could help out with a few pointers...

i do not remember all his titles, but i do know he has won several through his efforts...

used sundown i do believe

do you currently have a meter ?

Yup we have a meter. I'm also working on judges certification for meca.

Yea I would choose an ext cab s10 if you plan on doing MECA and metering at the headrest. They seem to be the best vehicles and definitely pretty easy to get loud.

Man, I wish I had a budget like that..

Looks sickkk!

x2 on a butt load of pictures!

:D

CRX's are over done, I say go w/the S10 and do this to it

I'm sure SOME of you know Hank?????

REX's will never die.

That's like 48 12's lol. Pretty intense.

Close, they're 10"s. 233 watts to each sub and at 30 Hz did a 156.7 IIRC.

This build hasn't died! purchases set to begin in January- February.

I'm still looking for the right CRX! My intentions with this build is mid 55's with some mpg left to attend comps. I will be using fi neo's and a birch enclosure for sure should save at least 200 lbs.

With that said I have picked up the following already:

Batcap 4000

1 set of Hertz 165 comps Christmas present to myself. I took a month off and managed a Christmas tree lot I'll be getting a 4k check for my slave labor.

Lots going to happen the next 2 mths.

Team Flex Issues will be hosting a 3pt MECA event.

One of our members already has 38 pts next comp he'll retain the State Championship. His average score in Street 5 is 155.4
