October 20, 201014 yr No, it wont work like that. There is no way you are going to get 2 DVC2s to wire down to 1. You will need 2 DVC4s for that. The SAZ-2000D may be capable of .5 although I would double check before doing so. IIRC, some of the SAZ ran fine at .5 but it would void the warranty.
October 20, 201014 yr Nope, when you hook them up to the amplifier you add the total impedance of all woofers used, in your case since you have two D2 woofers you can have 2 ohms or .5 ohms.
October 21, 201014 yr I can tell you from experience/mistake the 2000d will be very grumpy at .5 ohm.
October 21, 201014 yr The outputs of mono amplifiers are wired in parallel just inside the case. They aren't really two channels. So wiring one sub to each output will do no good, it's just like wiring both positives together into one output and both negatives together in the other. The two subs will still be wired in parallel, and the amp will see 0.5 ohm.
