I am going to actually use a dimm for once....easy enough looks like.....but the mini has a few more controls than most amps I have run....

any pointers on what to set the amp at? test tone recomendation or is 50 good enough?

Oh shit sorry, sub amp. me = dummy fuck.

Set it with your ears bro. A DMM is not the way to set it.

I tried it...didnt work out as planned. I know the amp is rated at 28.3 volts output..so it should have been easy...except when I touched the + and _ the amp went into protect and I decided not to mess with it .

setting it with ears....old way...although that is how I aways do it...I almost think setting the sub amp with the dimm would be better. unless you trust you ears on wether the sub is playing clean or distorting...
