I was going to get 4 18" BTL's cuz I heard them (on 2 Stetson 7k's) and thought they were the ish.... Until I heard 4 18" Nightshade hybrids on 2 saz-3500d's and now they are terrorizing everyone that sits in my burb (on RF T2500-1bdCP's)

I can not speak for the customer service of the other company's that you were talking about but Sundown has by far the best CS that I have personaly interacted with in an "audio" company. I think choosing a company that has excelent service and stands behind their product is as important if not more so than getting a "loud" sub. Just my .02

2 15"s off 3000 watts total would get louder than 1 18" off the same power. more cone area...

for example 2 BTL15 will be louder than 1 BTL18

I know....but its the space thing....and the fact I will go to 2 18s eventually

Gotcha... Like i stated before, try to get out and hear some setups with these subs... you live in FL, i'm sure you could find someone to give you a little demo..

In the end it is really all about your install like others said.
