Posted December 21, 201014 yr The box is not finished yet, sorry not more pictures of the build to busy, but i still have to router the port the top and paint it,and I may even cut an inch of the box out somewhere bc it is a little to tall but we will see.Amps should be where wednesday I hope, and with them i still have to run power and ground to the backand get another battery and a new atternater but atternater will probably be the last thing i buy.Thats all for now but it's in and pounding
December 21, 201014 yr Love the enclosure, whats it tuned to?What amps are you using to power these beasts?
December 21, 201014 yr Author it is tuned alittle high but like i said its my first build and its around 37, 38Hz it dosent hit the lows like i want it.and as of right now it has a JL 500/1 on them but soon to be the new saz-1500d .v2
December 21, 201014 yr tune at 33hz if u decide to change ur port tuning.......my first box i 1st tuned it at 30hz which lows was all it really had, 2nd try i was told try 40hz for my music choice which had no lows at all, then 3rd try i tuned at 33hz and it hit the low-lows real good and still hit the higher notes great...im currentl running sealed and it sucks, not enough room in my new car for ported while keeping my rear seats. guess its time to save up for a smaller sub lol...... nice setup btw
December 22, 201014 yr Author well i would of got my amps today if i was home but i work out of town during the week but i'm going home tomorrow so i will get them then, and i just ordered one of two XS Power D1200 from Autopartsdealer.com it was about 20 bucks cheaper then SSA or from XS Power and i will get it next week sometime, and now i'm just ordering all the little things i need to finish it up

December 22, 201014 yr Author Ok i was looking at the book and it is saying for a 1 or 4 ohm load hook the - neg. of the sub to the + pos. of the amp and + pos. of the sub to the - neg. of the amp?????is that right
