im thinking about going from 2 15's to one 21" DP, my question is what is the recommended box size for these? and can they take more then 1500rms daily? i would be putting 2200rms on it daily.

I think that 1500 daily is a good start. Personally, I wouldn't do 2k unless you have the right box, set your gains right, and don't go apeshit with the volume. Then again, I killed my first IA

Most people wind up making their box 8.5 cubes with about 120" of port tuned to 32ish hz. The new DP can take tons of power with the new star motor's cooling, and the new voice coil. Just be easy on the gains, and don't play hard below tuning, and you will be fine.
