Posted February 27, 200421 yr i'm building my new crx style box for my dd 9515 2-morrow. i wanna know what i should tune my spl port too.i have it designed for 50hz right now,but i wanna wait and get some peeps opinions on it 1st.i will be building a 36hz daily slip for the box also. i'm gonna call digital designs in the morning and see what they think.thanx guys. charles :thud:
February 27, 200421 yr what is the RF of your jeep find that first then go a couple hz below that.that should give you a good start.to bad your not doing any fiberglassing to make it look good. you can have me do it for you, for a small fee. LOL good luck charlesjamie
March 4, 200421 yr yea go to radioshack and get the db meter that goes up to 120db... (it cheap then when u finish return it back)put a sealed box with any type of sub...make a cd with test tones like from 20-80hz start playing the cd going through all the hz to see which is the loudest on the meter...it very easy to dogood luckjamie
