January 22, 201114 yr It'll more than likely be pretty boomy, I know my Polk sub that way similar to that was...to the point of annoying. If you want it for gaming, where you'll be hearing explosions and such, I'd look elsewhere, or just build your own.

January 23, 201114 yr it is pretty easy to build a box.... pick what sub you want and figure out if you want it sealed or ported.. most manufactures say if there sub is better in a sealed or ported enclosure.. then they will say how big of a box... SSA is really good at telling you Enclosure Recommendations: see below.. then if you go to like re box calculator you can change the numbers that are in red and it will calculate tthe box size and tell you how box volume.. and all the info you need.. it will even give you a cut list and tell you what size to cut each piece.. you can also google anything you need to know.. there are tons of sites with pictures and articlsre box calculator http://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.htmlthis is for a 12" DconEnclosure Recommendations:Sealed: .90 cu.ft.Sealed: 1.20 cu.ft. optimalPorted: 1.75 cu.ft. @ 28-33 hzPorted: 2.25 cu.ft. @ 28-33hz opt.Sub Outside Dia.: 12.500Cut Inside Dia.: 11.150Mounting depth: 6.500Displacement: 0.14 ft^ Edited January 23, 201114 yr by millertime
