just wondering what everone thinks about the kicker 10zx700.5 amp or kicker amps in general? its on sale at crutchfield for $320 free shipping and i was thinking about picking one up since i was going to purchase a four channel amp soon anyway and i am looking to downsize my sub stage(currently running a saz 1000d at 1 ohm and was planning on running it at 2 ohms) and i wouldnt mind having everything all in one any thoughts or comments welcome.

I have not played with any of the 10 models yet, but I have installed some of the 08 models. Kicker makes a good product. Here is a link to an 08 model for a little less.

from what i know kicker amps are solid

but this amp is a little more and way more beastly

yeah it definatly looks "beastly" but past experiences with maxxsonics products havent been great as far overheating, plus im looking for more of a quality setup this time around ive had multiple setups trying to be the "loudest around town" including my current setup 15" fi bl on a saz 1000d. but thats not for me anymore id rather have a nice crisp clean sound with good output than crazy output with everything getting ready to fall apart in my car.

hmm then maybe u should get a zed lethevian

even if you think those numbers are inflated on the hifonics amp i bet it still has more power than the kicker 210 watts for a sub must be a wimpy sub

you should get the hifonics amp and run a skar on it those have good sq

210w is at 4 ohms its 420 at 2 ohms. and im not really concerned with how loud it can get even though im sure a dcon would sound great and be loud to the ear on it at either 210 or 420w and i wouldnt consider that a whimpy sub.

yea i had kicker comps 150 rms they got loud but they were just geey cause they dont sound very nice

For the price and flexibility it looks like a win, win situation for you. Kicker makes a good amplifier. Buy it and give a review on it.
