ive used an audiopipe 1500... never tested to see what it does, but going off listed specs, planet audio is 1400 watts @ 1 ohm (ignore the 1900 watts MAX is bs). audiopipe is 1500rms @ 1 ohm.. looks like 100 watt difference.. not audible. I prefer a company that doesnt list max wattage lol. when they list max wattage it just turns me away.

plent audio is probaly better quality

Ive always wanted to trust planet audio because of their awesome prices but, in this case, I would go with the audiopipe. There are quite a few guys on the forum here that have used audiopipe successfully and will vouch for the company. So I would definitely go with the ap15001d, a much safer in my opinion.

cant see it even mattering unless your competing. As far as i know audiopipe's put out what they are rated for. as for more i dont know.

based on what? the look? Don't make assumptions, period.

I have experience using both BRANDS not necessarily these specific amps. I do not like either of them. I know some people that use the Audiopipe amps and have okay luck with them. Planet Audio has just turned to junk IMO. If you had to pick one I would get the Audiopipe. But I would look into other options.
