First of all this is the equipment ill be talking about.

Rockford Fosgate 800.2 old school (the amp that is blowing fuses)

Pyle Driver Plad413 (4 channel)

Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2 (DVC, 4ohm)

ok I wired my subs up for the 2 channel amp like it says to do here, http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_4-ohm_2ch.jpg

but that amp kept blowing fuses so in the meantime I am using the pyle 4 channel I bought to drive my regular speakers until the fosgate gets fixed.

When i wired in the pyle I left the subs wired for a 2 channel amp but hooked them up to the amp like this http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_4-ohm_4ch.jpg

Question is, will i notice a big difference if I rewire the subs the correct way?

I ask because even though I know the pyle is nowhere near the amp the fosgate is, the subs dont even come close to hitting as hard as they used to with the fosgate amp. And they start to distort at about 35% when i turn the amp up

Check voltage, gain and bass boost levels?

Sub not blown?

Wrong size fuzes?
