March 18, 201114 yr Depends on the wood material and thickness as well...Should I get a extra large pizza or a large?
March 18, 201114 yr Right you are Ken. Is that Papa Murphy's? Back to the topic at hand, how much power will you be running? How big is the baffle? Sealed or ported? Enclosure thickness? Are you going to brace the enclosure? Give us a little more to work with here.
March 18, 201114 yr IA Says the flatlynes are 27lbs a piece i dont think it would be necessary to double up the front baffle if you use 3/4" mdf and do some minor internal bracing, but if you want flush mounted subs or just for and extra piece of mind it wouldn't hurt just makes the enclosure heavier than it needs to be.
March 18, 201114 yr Author i have a sundown sae-1200dv2 and ill use 3/4mdf ported and about 6 cubes...

This. Proper bracing and it won't flex at all.
March 19, 201114 yr I prefer the look of flush mounted subs. So I would go with a double baffle. If your worried about weight you could use window style or dowel bracing inside the box to prevent panel flex.
