I just bought a 2011 Mazda 3 and since I just bought it tonight I haven't had much time to really search everything out about the car but from what I found online it looks like it has 5 1/4" speakers which I know there is two speakers in front doors and two in the back, i'm not sure about the rear deck or any tweets around the dash, which I will check tomorrow when I get a chance, but anyways I was wondering if there is anyway to fit a 6.5" speaker in the 5 1/4"?

Should I just get two front speakers or two fronts and two rears since they'll be in the doors, which I do plan on amping them?

I know this is all personal opinion, but I mainly listen to metal, but I also listen to rap, hip hop, and techno sometimes. Which speakers would you get that can get really loud and stay crisp for under $300?

Also, I already have a sub and amp so bass isn't going to be an issue.

I had some time to look at everything in the car today and I have four speakers, two in the front doors and two in the back doors. The depth from the window rolled down to the top of the mounting bracket (not the speaker) is 2.5" and the bracket that is on the speaker is 8" Long x 5.75" Wide, so is my speaker a 5x7"?

Crutchfield says that the front can fit 5.25" and the rear doors will fit 5x7" since the 5.25" is round, this would probably be the best size of speaker to get wouldn't it? Or do you think it would be possible to fit a 6.5" in them? I would post pics of the inside of the door but I can't figure out how to post pics on here.
