I have a ia dr on prob 6 or 700 watts. The amp is a brutes 1200 soon to have big 3 and a yellow top under the hood. Space is no problem I have a 07 trailblazer. I like my 12 but I want to be louder.I was thinking about 6 12" or 6 10" skars at one ohm so prob about 200 watts to each. Would this be a good upgrade cuz I really wana try the skars out

Try another IA DR 12". Those are an amazing sub woofer for the price. 2 in a properly aligned ported enclosure would sound incredible and would be louder on the same amplifier.

No way, the cone area and motor force difference would make the Skars much louder.

What are your measurements in the rear?

I'm going to have to look I think it would be no problem fitting them back there ill measure it out tho

Instead of getting 6, why not just get 2? I can understand the "WOW" factor. But does it make much sense to jump from 1 to 6 on the same power?

I just figure if I throw more subs to lower power it would prob be louder then one sub on more power. Does that make since? I mean I may be wrong.

I meant the 2 DR's would be louder than the 1 DR on the same amplifier.

I should have clarified myself better. The 6 Skars would be louder than the 2 IA DR's.

If you're wanting to add drivers, Skar specifically, I'd get 4 subs and take the money you would have spent on the other 2, and upgrade your power. You could sell your current amp as well to add to funding. That way you're getting the best of both worlds.. more drivers + more power = epic deebeez

yea i was thinking about that also i may just put a second death row in. it will fit the budget better...my girl demands we go on a cruise now....there goes all my freaking system budget
