November 28, 200519 yr Author no chit, go figure that i couldnt find it for the life of me.alright. so i'm betting that it's NOT the denon deck.anyone interested for $200? lolthx BD
November 29, 200519 yr I can give you an honest opinion. These are not the Denon HU's. I used to have the RF RFX-9300 which ran my system for about 3 years. I did not the Punch option and the Sub Out gain was very strong. This is only needed if you do not have enough power for your sub. If you have enough sub output you would not need these options.I will say, I sold the RFX-9300 and bought a used Eclipse CD-8053 and OMG did it change the sound of my system. All things stayed the same except for the HU, and it sounded like two totally different systems! Everything was no longer muddy, and the midbass is fast and very strong! Everything was better in my opinion! It also allowed me to sell my EQ and Crossover as the CD Player has both of those built in and DSP as well. I would spend the extra $50 over the $200 anyday for the 8053!My only complaint with the 8053 is the clock. The numbers are inside a dot matrix display, which makes them very hard to see even at night, and impossible during the day.Hope this helps
November 29, 200519 yr Sorry for the threadjack Nick, but are the rfx8240/8250 the only rebadged Denon-->RF or are there others?
November 29, 200519 yr Yes the 8240 ans 8250 were the only two made. Those are the Rockford part numbers, then on the front they were labled the PLATINUM 2000i or 2000TIHere is the owners manualhttp://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/libr...-50_Pla_MAN.pdf
