im going to be using a hifonics brz 2400 watt model amp, am i ok running just 1 strand of 0 gauge wiring to the battery or should i do 2?

Sorry to thread jack but I got 2 gage wire for the big three cuz it was cheaper I only have one 1200 running at prob 6 or 700 watts you think that's will work

yea.. 8awg or even 10awg would of probably worked just as well too.

Again, don't buy into the overkill hype unless you are competing.

I've always been told and read a single run of 1/0 is capable of 300+ amps.

I've read/heard the same about the 300+ amps... But maybe for things like serious/competition vehicles you don't rely want to rely on one run of wiring...

Of course not, but a serious vehicle would have more then one alt so would require more then one run.
