The head unit I bought says its only 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen compatible, does this my 4th gen wont work or its just the manufacturer has not added he 4th gen to there list? I dont see why it wouldnt work, its the pioneer 4300 dvd navigation unit, please let me know what you think and if I have to return it and get a 3rd gen version, thank you

    I've read somewhere that it still did work, just wasn't able to use the HU to control it.
