I have a large trunk but the hinges come down a good 6 inches when you close it and they are about 28" apart so I cant make it too wide. I also want the sub on top of the box firing up towards my rear deck (i took the 6x9s out hehe) and port it to the rear. I do plan on using the design for basic dimensions but ill have to redo the port myself. I hope I like the Xcon never had anything like SSA, SA or RE... Memphis C3's are about the best name brand sub ive ever had my hands on... Edited May 5, 201114 yr by Juicee
May 5, 201114 yr Author What part of Akron are you from Jack3d? Reason I ask is because this happened to be the first forum I stumbled upon, as I too am looking to build a new box for a 18" SSA Xcon I just bought. Was wondering if maybe you wanted to get together sometime and see what kind of ideas the both of us can come up with for both builds. You know what they say 2 minds are better than 1 lol.I lived in Hudson but just recently moved to Stow. But ya I think that would be cool. Shoot me an email off my profile page and maybe we could meet sometime soon. Maybe tomorrow or something...I have school and work on Sat and Sun is mothers day so this weekend is kinda booked. lolWhere you live in Akron?Prepare to be blown away by the Xcon^^I want one! May 5, 201114 yr Author HexiBase - Narrative Series - Part 4Youtube, That Video Might Give You An Idea As To What A Rounded Over Port Looks Like vs. A Full On Kerf.By The Way, His Designs Are Ungodly Wicked.I didnt see that you posted this yesterday....but wow those builds looked really nice. He kinda lost me with all the terms he was using though. lolI may just do that and round over the port but kerfing does look really sick, I'll probly just practice that a little and see how it goes first....I Want My Damn Zcon.
