should i go to home depot, who has cheap but good stuff? and what kind of calk screws ETC.

    3/4in mdf wood screws and I don't think the calk matters home depot will work fine

    I got to home depot for supplies.

    3/4" MDF or Birch

    Titebond glue

    Spax 1 1/2" wood to wood screws

    4 or more clamps

    Drill bits

    if you can afford it, birch. otherwise 3/4" mdf works great. if you're doing something bigger than a single sub, or doing something extremely powerful, buy enough wood to double baffle everything. it'll keep you from having to rebuild later.
