Posted June 12, 201114 yr Gonna have a few batteries in the back and need some good 0 gauge to make some runs to the back. The first question is how many runs should i make. Gonna be running between 2-4 15's off a sundown saz-2500 (add a second later). gonna be ran to one or two xs 3100 And next i know knu has the 0 gauge but is there anywhere else i can get some? not sure on how much i need (2004 dodge ram 1500)
June 12, 201114 yr Welding supply stores, either online or local. I got mine for $2.28/ft. Not a bad deal, considering an audio shop wanted $5/ft Edited June 12, 201114 yr by Chainsaw
June 12, 201114 yr or Knu concepts... not bad wiring and decent pricing depends on what you "really" need... I have mine from weldingsupply.com
June 12, 201114 yr Author Ya i was gonna go with Knu, just wasnt sure if there is anything cheaper out there. Does anyone have any idea about how many runs i should do to the back?
June 12, 201114 yr i would honestly go with welding cable its cheaper on the price, and as for how many runs i just ordered 2 group 31 batts. from xspower and im doin two runs 2+ 2- and i think that will be fine, and as for distance it all depends on vechical, for your truck i wanna guess around 16ft from front to the back, could be wrong though you can always measure and add alil more, better to have extra then have less and then be stuck without Edited June 12, 201114 yr by knockinthastreetzof608
June 12, 201114 yr Author Alright thanks man, ill definitely check the welding cable is it just as good quality as something else? And this is my first time running a big system like this and multiple batteries. Ive read up on it quite a bit just wanna make sure so is this correct, just choose how many runs i want. Then run that many from positive to the postive in the back and that many negatives from the front battery to the batteries in the back?
