June 23, 201114 yr ok thanks for the explaination i just wasnt too sure for a single 15 held up against 2 12's on same power and for forth. Havnt really heard to many sub setups in my town because the people i hang out with arnt really into that yet but im pushin it for em lol If only i could hear it for myself id never have to ask these questions, its just always good to know a little about what your intoMeh depending on the quality of the install a nice set of equipment could sound really bad. On the other hand hearing a friends 15" Mach 5 IXL on a SAE-1000 is what convinced me to start my system
June 23, 201114 yr Author yea that is true which is why when i started my electrical i made sure it was done right first so i dont have any problems, enclosure will be custom made by someone on this site, haha sick iv always wanted to hear a mach 5
June 24, 201114 yr I'd get another BL. If you have an AQ2200D and your current BL is 1 ohm, it's perfect. If I were you I'd rather not have to go through the trouble of selling your BL when I could just get another one.Just my $.02

Im so torn between the two im just gonna put that aside and worry about getting an alternator first haha. But yes that would be the easier way, but the thought of trying something new and almost comparable to having 2 bls for cheaper runs through my head. Im sure ill pick the right decision once comes time and will thank you guys for it . Until then i gotta sell my alpine pdx f4 to get an alt
June 24, 201114 yr just a thought for you.... id look into a orion hcca. i have 1 12 in a 3.0CF ported box and it gets super loud and has amazing SQ. id say its louder than the 2 15" L5's i had and the 2 12" L7's i had. i have it on a mtx 1501d and it gets crazy loud. but then again i drive a truck and the sub is like 2ft away from ur head so its hard to say what its gonna sound like in a car

Would either be fi ssa or sundown but sundown is a bit outta my reach Will most likely be going in the direction of the zcon because damn everytime i log onto this forum BOOM its just right there in your face at the top and is looking mighty sexy everytime
June 24, 201114 yr The sundown subs here have free shipping and the ZCON and XCON don't. So depending on your location they could come out to about the same price. I'm not comparing the two I'm just letting you know.
June 25, 201114 yr the one thing that REALLY catches my eye on the zcon, is that it says "100% MADE IN USA" that means a lot to some people. like me when i got my first fi audio sub (18" btl) i thought they were just another china brand. then i seen made in usa on the back. thats when i realized why they cost so much more than most others. but im willing to pay for a made in usa product.unfortunatly i had to sell the fi 18 because i have a ranger so there wasnt enough room for a box. it is extended cab but its just not enough. plus i only had a kicker zx1500.1 to push it with lol. anyways back on topic. GL on finding a sub bro.
