hey guys.. I just wanted to know how to wire up screens to the deck from headrest, visor, ceiling etc... I wnt to know where the rca'a and wires go from the screen and what they need to be hooked up to in order to work. i like doing things myself can anybody help and explain fully? thanks

what RCA wires are you speaking of... the yellow alone.. or the yellow white and red?

well if you want audio to eatch screen then run the red and whites,.... if you only want video only wires the yellow..

I do believe you depending on how many monitors, you have to buy some Y splitters...

What he said. Just run the yellow of the a/v cable from the video out on your deck then split it as many times as you need for the number of screens you are running. You dont need the red and white cables going to each screen. Unless like bigjon said you want audio coming from each screen.

when running mulitbale screens you dont want to use spliters.. video needs every bit of the voltage to display correctly .... when you y slpit it over and over you will get fuzz and lines in the picture....

you need somthing like this.....

from the out put on the head unit.. to this then from this to eatch screen.

you will also want to run a power wire with a relay....

i always do a 8 gauge, or 10, to a fuse pannel, eatch and everything is fused. and safe.

ill have to look at see if i have pics of my video work in the black lincoln.

Good advice bigjon. Most I have ever run was 2 7" at once and was fine with the splitters so I never ran into the situation to need a signal booster.
