My 15" Mmats p2.0 is making a wierd noise from the dust cap. I don't even know how to described, but when I push down a little bit, at low volumes of course, the noise goes away. I let it go, and the noise came back. Any input?

Maybe the dustcap is not glued down properly?

You're probably bottoming the sub out. Turn your gain down, SSF up, or HPF down, depending on where you're getting the most noise.

i would take my finger nail.. or somthing like it.. and go along the edge of the dust cap.. it does not seem to been glued all the way.

The noise is at very low volumes, and of course it sound louder when I turn it up. If I bottoming out the sub time ago, what happen with the sub?

The cap is glue, no signs of coming off. The noise still present. Dunno what happen

Take the sub out and see if everything is still connected? Could be tinsel slap.

or one of the tinsels is broken and it connects when ever you move it :puzzled:

some subs just start making noise out of no where.. i have had a few RE's like that.... late models
