does the remote on the rockford fosgate t1500.1bd useful, or should i avoid it,

and if possible, can u tune it or adjust it, like a gain knob

If you like adjusting the bass in your system it is very helpful. Set your gain. Turn the knob to max. Plug the knob in. Now you can adjust the bass in your system without clipping.

Its pretty useful if you're the type of person that likes to adjust the bass output from song to song. Personally, I haven't touched mine since I installed it.

I use mine all the time just to adjust the bass to the song some songs hit hard and I don't need it some don't hit and I want a little more bass
