Honestly, your old pair of L7s could have gotten you very close to 150 db, if not over it. In those trucks, a pair of 15s, subs up port up on around 2k will have your truck flapping like you want and easily in the upper 40s. If you want an ugly monster of a box firing forward you ought to just wall it off properly.

August 7, 201114 yr man i just wish i had a hatchback truck or suv because getting a trunk loud is damn hard while still sounding good (without all the vibrations that happen while bass goes from back of trunk to the cabin), i would be thrilled if i could hit at least 140 once i get my 4 sa-10's installed lol
