Check your rcas's and ground at the amp and behind the deck. Alo make sure your speaker wires are not grounded to metal.

it could be the ground but the rca is to the same channel on the amp for both sides. i think it may be the ground to the crossover is loose. is that a possibility?

Yea I plan on doing it when it stops raining, also it will like fad out so you can't hear it then it will over power the music sometimes wtf man

Sounds like a driver board in your amp is going out. What amp?

Its a bass pro or something like that. its a crap amp iv had for years. This would not surprise me.

Try another amp if you have one. That would be the easiest way to find out if it's the amp.

Thank you 98 gmc for your responses. Just jumped in the car and the static was so loud, when the radio turned on I jumped and hit my head on the roof. lol so now neither side is working just ungodly loud static. So I'm guessing its the amp.

ok so i changed the ground out 2 times check the connections

unplugged replugged rcas in the speakers worked but poping sound when turned on/off

messed with some other grounds same thing but when i turned up the volume is made a strange mic feedback sound i guess.

so any other suggestions of it it deff the amp i dont have an extra right now so im waitinf for my buddy to come drop one off

yep it was the amp its done for. any good suggestions for a amp for highs?

about 100ish maybe like 150 its only on the comps in the front soo like 100watt per channel is the most i wanted to do but no less then 85watts. idk if it matters for comps as much as subs.

Imo buy a quality amplifier. Stick with a more mainstream brand. For the budget AudioPipe and Maxxsonics should fit the bill nicely.

Used is always a good option as well.
