This box is for a fellow Dodge truck owner. This enclosure will be housing a pair of T3 Audio TSS 15" woofers, utilizing a kerfed port opening. The subs will be firing forward behind the driver seat, with the port firing up on the passenger side.

On the meter, they usually help a little since the air flow at the opening of the port is smoother. To the ear, it's really not going to be very noticeable unless you originally had a port that was restrictive, and then went with a kerfed design that greatly improved the flow.
