September 22, 201113 yr Author I'd buy that explorer from his uncle at the price he's selling it... I do have to consider the terrain differences. I think Stefan lives in AZ... or somewhere near there. A little different than here in Northern Michigan. But, i am biased as hell
September 22, 201113 yr I should have been more specific about the term Four wheeling, as this is what I did:Obviously you can't compare a stock vehicle to one that's not, but I don't really see tricking out an explorer like a jeep for 4x4ing.
September 22, 201113 yr Author Once you start modding anything is possibleThe off-road Explorer crowd is larger than people think. Especially the first generation. Obviously some wranglers that come stock with a locking rear diff and skid plates and such are more aimed towards off-roading, but that's a given. I was simply stating that to rule the explorer out so quickly may have been uncritical.
