Posted January 29, 200619 yr MOVE!!! http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stor...ND+%22stereo%22
January 29, 200619 yr I'd like to see the specifics in the bill.Other then that ... good. Blast your music and break the local laws, pay the price. Impounding a vehicle is perhaps too harsh for a first offence, but hey ... if that's what it takes to get through the heads of these pucking punk ass children ...
January 29, 200619 yr YOu know, I don't necessarily like the boom cars, but it's not that big a deal. I can see if they're sitting at a stoplight making noise, but simply driving through, I don't really have a problem with it. You never see a Harley rider getting hassled for his bike being too loud. It's a bunch of BS if you ask me.

It's gotta be up there cuz I always have to roll my windows up when one drives by.
January 29, 200619 yr Anyone know how loud Harley's are? It's gotta be up there cuz I always have to roll my windows up when one drives by.It's to the point where you can't even sleep in a hotel in Kelowna that's two blocks behind the main strip.
January 29, 200619 yr I used to leave the volume high at stoplights. Now i actually turn it down. And i always drive with the window down even if i dont have the stereo on.So that doesnt really help the "noise" im producing.I told this story in the IHoP....Some dude with a 2dr explorer pulls up while im waiting for the bus. I didnt really have to cover my ears. Then yesterday some guy with a motorcycle drives by and that thing was WAY WAY louder than the explorer. The explorer wasnt quiet but the motorcycle was much louder. And it scares the crap outta you. Bass never scared me...
January 30, 200619 yr Loud cycles never bothered me, and I truly think it saves lives. When I drive around on my Honda I feel like every tom, dick, & jane is going to cut me off and surprisingly often they do. People tend to crowd non-loud bikes as well. I flat out ticket loud behaviour though. If your system is making houses nearby hump, you should not have it bumpin like that when you drive through a residential area. Same with a bike, if you are revving it at all to add to the noise, you should be cited as well.
