What do you want said woofer to do?

Sound good with some loudness when needed.

This question can only be answered by the questioner. It's ALL a matter of personal preference.

I've used hundreds of different subs in every type of alignment you could think of. To my ears 95% of them all sound the same. It's very easy to find several subs that will all work equally well in a given application and sound no different. So with that in mind, you will have to find something that makes one more attractive to you than another.

Of course, you could also feel completely opposite of me and spend your entire life auditioning drivers.

See how subjective this is?

Sundown SA series, Fi SSD series, IA Lethal Injection series and SSA DCON

Pretty much any subwoofer will do this.

Just depends on how much I want to spend?
