So you are basing your amp decision on the size of it's connections?

well i need something with 0 guage connectors since its already ran

Dual 1ohm voice coils equals .5ohms or 2ohms final impedance.

i will probably wire it to 2 ohm then, thanks for the info

Buy this and you have a lot more flexibility.

i have a kinetic hc1400 and looking to get the big 3 soon

used sundown saz1500 they are stable at .5ohms, just have a good electrical system

I dont believe that is good advice since this guy seems to be a beginner (no offense OP)

Planet Audio BB2400.1 is cheap and powerful and o gauge terminals. It can handle a .5 load I have my skar vvx-15 wired downed to .7 for daily and that amp gives my subs a beaten.

If you're wanting new, the AQ 2200D or Crescendo BC2000 would fit in your budget and be a nice match while offering plenty of power in case you decide to get another D1 BL or something else to wire down to 1ohm. If you're not opposed to buying used and you have a little patience, you could surely find something very nice for $450. I know you said $450 max but for another 50, you could get your hands on a nice, new refurbed Sundown SAZ 2500D from Chris @ db-r. Just a couple of suggestions, there are plenty of nice amps out there that will power that BL just fine in your price range.

Honestly, for $450 there aren't a whole lot of options... tack on another $100 and you might be able to find something... A new RF T1500BDcp runs about $560 ... A refurb SAZ1500D runs $360 (0ga connector) but won't give you your power at 2ohms ... Digital Designs $575 (0ga) ... Kicker ZX1500 $550 (0ga) and your power ....

Consider used and all of those amps become available to him.

True... Used is gonna be best to keep budget down... Buy my HU ohjay... lol

I've come across flawless used equip. But I wouldn't purchse unless I knew somone didn't abuse/make mistakes with hookups. Can't do that too often these days, people are stupid.
