I am trying to get me an enclosure for two 12" Icons, However I would like to put a few small changes to the box to make it look a little better than the "average box", but I need a little help.

How do you Flare your port?

If I put a plexiglass window on top, would that affect the sound at all, and how do you put a plexiglass window on a box without breaking the plexiglass?

What type of paint is the best to use on MDF, for the flared port?

Would it be better to have the rectangular port, round port, or will it not really make a difference?

And where is the cheapest place to buy carpeting? Cheapest I found locally was $7 a foot.

Also depending on price I might even be interested in just having someone build me a box, so if you build box's and would be interested in building a box for two 12" Icons, PM me a quote please, thanks! :)

Since no one really answered any of my questions in Post #1 I was hoping that maybe someone could help me figure out my Multimeter so I can make sure that I know what my amplifier will be throwing at my sub. I have this multimeter, http://www.amazon.com/Powerbuilt-648349-Digital-Multi-Meter/dp/B004KEFE80 and all the video's i've seen on how they test the subwoofer ohm's with it, they put the dial @ 200 in the Ohms area. Mine will stay a solid 1 whether i'm touching anything or not with the needles. The only reading in the Ohms area i've gotten was in the 20k, and it reads out @ 10.13-10.15, this is with the negative needle on a negative push terminal and the positive in the positive terminal.
