hey guys should i build this or should i just keep it simple i have no experience designing an 4th order and would hate to waist 2 sheets of mdf if some one has input for a better enclosure lol

its going to be a 1:2 chamber ratio

rear is going to be 1.28 after displacements

front is going to be 2.76 cf tuned to 36.09

box peaks at 33.79 at 6.69 db

and here are pics of what i imagined

Go with a standard ported enclosure with the SA-12!

gotcha i have a ported one tuned to 35 hz would the subs do better at a 30 hz vs the 35 that its at?

All depends on listening tastes! I prefer a 35hz tuning.

As far as going with a 4th order bandpass go with a reputable designer. The SA will work great in a bandpass but I personally like a standard 4th order vented enclosure.

How is the response curve and impedance curve?

so after reading around alot i have came up with this

my tune was wayy to low so i brought it up to 50 hz

also made the sealed chamber 2 and the ported 2.11 tuned to 50 hz

here are some pics

The original response was quite unfavorable, in my opinion. How is the new one?
