Posted January 13, 201213 yr A buddy of mine wants me to put a system in his 2006 ford f250 4 door truck. He wants the subs behind the back seat. I have about 4.5" of mounting depth, about 14-15" in height, about 60" long, and about 1.25-2 cubes to work with. He wants to be able to hit the lows fairly good in a ported box. Which sub or subs should i get for him? Sizes? How many?I know the shallow mount subs like the cvts and p3s are pretty good but they dont get too low. Also i have 1200 watts at 1 ohm available to work with. So any wattage up to that would be recommended. Edited January 13, 201213 yr by sps1989
January 13, 201213 yr Best shallow mount subwoofers iv ever heard of are the JL TW5.. You cant run much else other than a shallow mount with that much of a depth. I may be wrong but just my 2 cents.
