Looks nice but that enclosure won't work well either. The port area is way too small. You have a little over 7 sqin. You need atleast twice that. I wouldn't go smaller than a 2" wide port. Of course that changes tuning and displacement.

thanks...

Also, I'm going to be only pushing 340RMS @ 4ohms max on the SA8-v2, and another question since my Alpine MRV-T420 is 4 ohm stable so SA-8v2 D4 is what I need? I just see on some other thread about D2 can be wired as 1ohm or 4ohm, so that made me confused. please direct me to right track! thanks...

Seriously??? Damn this is tuff!!! I myself build about 6-8 enclosure for my previous setup never know about tuning it right, I just build it randomly so it would fit the sub! lol but I guess they were all around 50- 70hz which is way out of range. I been around with a few set of sound system over 9 years, never though about tuning a box!!! I heard a little but never understands from researching on other forum untill I found this forum!!! you peoples up in here ROCKS!!!

Anyways, I've settle with this final sketch, since my space is limited, so the best I can do is 1 3/8" x 7 1/4" port to get probably 0.6cu ft @ 36hz with the SA-8v2 in.
