Hi everyone have a question. i have a custom built 180amp alternator that i bought online. and im looking for parts for it since the place i bought it from dont wanna help me and wanted to ask if anyone knows a place online that sells parts for alternators. i look up on google and had no luck. the part i am looking for is the adpater that bolts on the outside of the case and the power wire bolts up to.

The part should be available at your local auto parts store or dealership.

I already try all the auto part stores and even the dealership and none of them carrey alternator parts just the stock alternator its self.

What alternator is it? Do you have any rebuilders local? They should stock the part if it's for a common alt.

If you can provide us with a bit more info maybe we can get you fixed up. What model/year vehicle, alt. case style/brand would be a good start. Pics would be even better.

i had it built from ecessiveamperag.com two years ago since it's the only place online i came across that made 180amp custom ho alternators for a 2001 kia sportage. if someone can tell how to upload pictures off my andriod on here i have a pic with my power wire hook up to it or i can look online for one.

I can find the Lester number, but no B.O.M. to get the extension part number.

Call this place and tell them you need the positive post extension for Lester # 13646.
