I drive a Lada Niva which is essentially a russian jeep. Its about the same size as my wifes civic hatchback only taller. I am currently making a box using the design i got from Ryan @ RAM designs. The speakers that came with the car are a joke. Boxed 6x9's inb the rear which sound terrible and some bargain JL 5-1/4's in the front. I listen to a variety of music ranging from metal, dubstep, hip hop. I would like the speakers to have crisp clean highs but still have some decent mid range. (my old MB Quarts were great for highs but gutless in the mids) Are there suggestions on good 6-1/2 components for the front and 6-1/2 coaxs that will be boxed for the rear without breaking the bank? Something thats available in ontario would be nice too. Might be interested in importing if price / quality was excellent.

Any speakers come to mind? Let me know! Cheers.

Forgot to mention im looking at around $150-200 for a set of front 6.5 comps. Will worry about rear fill later

Why worry about it at all?

lack of sound deadening would result in the lack luster low end on your previous comps.

i would focus on front speakers and deadening first.

So in other words i should just get a better set of front speakers and not even have rears?

Also, any suggestions on 6.5" comps that would go well with an SA-8 substage?

Removed comment which was amazingly stupid even by my standards. :)
