I know port tuning makes a difference. And I know what the differences are, but would there be an audible/easily noticeble difference between 30hz and 34hz tuning? For the larger amount of port area I want for my smaller box, I would have to tune around 34hz, instead of the 30hz I wanted to tune at.

Tuning the enclosure is only an "open room" tune. It will be completely different once inside your vehicle.

Depending on the application a 34hz tuning will be just fine for daily and could get low as well. But again that is dependent on the the application and products used.

It would be a 98 bravada (s10 blazer), 15" AA Havoc, and a MB Quart Discus 1.5k

4 door? If so you should have enough room to go a little large on the enclosure and tune lower which is what I would suggest in your situation. The acoustical gain/loss you get in the truck is very different in the blazer then almost any other SUV.
