February 21, 201213 yr Upgrade your stock wire with thicker one(depends on the amperage(look for charts for that)).Positive battery to positive alternatorChassis to negative batteryChassis to engine blockThis helps when you install an aftermarket system and you draw way more current. The stock wire is not accommodated for that, so when you add a bigger alternator/battery you should upgrade your wires too.

February 23, 201213 yr Buy good cable cuz remember engine heat and it will be exposed to the elements...i use 2/0g wire that i bought from a forklift company...the use it to power their forklift...im talking about 1 ton batteries...paid about 100 bucks for 30ft
